Home Firearm Safety Instructor $150

This class is the NRA Home Firearm Safety Instructor Class. This is a non-shooting
course. This teaches students how to teach the knowledge, skills, attitude
necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the
home. This is a four hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the
classroom only. Students are taught NRA's three rules for safe gun handling,
primary causes for gun accidents, firearm parts, how to unload different action
types, ammunition components, cleaning, care, safe storage of firearms in the
home, etc. Students will receive the instructor manual, NRA Home Firearm
Safety Handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, course completion certificate,
etc. The price doesn't include BIT. Certifications are issued by the NRA Training
Dept. There are certification and processing fees that are paid directly to
NRA. The fees are $30 if you are an NRA member. The fees are $50 if you are
not a NRA member. That is for a 2 year certification. This price doesn't include
BIT. Please remember NRA Instructor courses are performance based
courses. Students must possess the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for
this level of training. You do not pay and automatically pass instructor
training. You pass to have the opportunity to pass.
