NRA Basic Rifle

This class is the NRA Basic Rifle Class. This teaches students the knowledge, skills, attitude necessary to safely shoot rifles. This course includes classroom and range time. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting from the bench, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions, cleaning, etc. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting Handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basics of Rifle Shooting Exam, course completion certificate, etc. You will need to bring your rifle (22lr only), 100 rounds of ammo, hearing protection, eye protection, kneepads (optional).
